When must the transport notification be submitted?

The transport notification must be submitted before, or no later than upon arrival at the border.

Who is responsible for submitting the transport notification?

The vehicle driver is responsible for submitting the transport notification, or a customs representative acting on behalf of the driver.

What happens after submission?

• After submission, you will receive an acknowledgement containing a reference number (MRN).
• The MRN must be passed on to the party submitting the goods information so that the consignment can be linked to the correct vechile.
• The transport notification is not considered valid until it has been linked to a submitted consignment.

The transport notification cannot be deleted after submission. If it is not linked to a consignment, it will be automatically deleted after seven days.
